A magnificent museum quality pair of ancient Chinese Lokhapalas (or "tomb guardians") dating to the early Tang Dynasty, circa 1,350 years old. Both are standing with opposite fists clenched and raised, while their other hand is held aggressively against their hip. Clothed in battle dress and winged helmets , standing atop a demon.
