A truly magnificent ancient Chinese hu wine jar, covered in a green glaze . With outstanding taotie mask ring handles simulating the bronze originals, this is another museum piece. It dates to the Han dynasty, circa 2,000 years ago. Note the original spur marks to the base where it was originally stacked in the kiln for firing
