Chinese Neolithic Period Pottery Qijia Amphora 3000 BC (AA000)
A rare and very old neolithic terra cotta amphora from the Qijia culture from Gansu Province, China, 2050 - 1200 BC. Being corded, when the clay was wet, fabric was applied making pattern. When it was fired, the fabric would burn off, leaving the design.
